Airbags & Safety Restraint Systems
Modern cars have additional airbags to protect you and your passengers, these airbags are also used to reinforce the structural integrity of the car especially during a side impact collision or if the vehicle were to roll over. If the Airbag or SRS light is illuminated the system will not operate due to a fault being present. We have the equipment and training to replace components and rectify airbag faults on almost any vehicle on the road today.
If the airbag or SRS warning light is on, this means that there is a fault somewhere in the airbag ecu circuit, it can be as simple as a loose connection or a flat battery code logged. The airbags will not operate until the fault has been repaired and the codes reset, you and your passengers are not protected if the light is on!
We can also disable passenger airbags for child seat installation on most vehicles.
Warning! Airbags and SRS components contain explosive charges! Repairs should not be carried out by unqualified persons.
